SMA crossover (golden cross / death cross)

• Compute two SMAs: a fast (10) and a slow (30).
• Buy when fast crosses ABOVE slow (bullish shift).
• Sell when fast crosses BELOW slow.

Short-term price average moving above the longer-term average signals that momentum has shifted upward. The crossover is noisy but directional.

Lag. The crossover only fires after significant movement, so you often buy well above the breakout low and sell well above the top.
