How the gaming hub works
Non-custodial. Funds never leave your wallet until you press a bet. Wins land back in your wallet at settlement, same tx.
Pooled payout.Every bet splits 5% to the house balance and 95% to the payout pool. Wins draw from the pool. Max bet is capped at 1% of the pool — even a max-jackpot win can't drain it.
Paytable RTP ~89%. The on-chain reel weights produce a paytable return-to-player of 89.3% over the long run (audited 2026-05-21 — see docs/cdp-009-slots-reel-recalibration.md). The 5% protocol fee is explicit on top; the ~89% is what the paytable mechanics return inside the pool. A V3 reel re-weighting to lift this closer to 95% is drafted but unscheduled.
Fair-ish RNG. Slots use on-chain pseudo-random via keccak256(player + nonce + timestamp + prevrandao). Good for casual play; not adversarial-proof. Chainlink VRF upgrade is queued.
House edge funds the platform. The 5% house edge accumulates to a balance only the operator can withdraw to the platform treasury. Every withdrawal is an on-chain tx anyone can audit.
